This place has a great location, right next to three dining options open during the holidays and the restaurants here.

Building was beautiful as were the grounds
Room location. Had no idea I was going to be so far away from main building. Picture does not show that there are lodges. I thought I was in the main building

The best part were the responsive staff. The room was pet-friendly and brand-new, had an iron and dresser.

Great location by the lake, and there's a steakhouse at the golf course nearby 🌊.

Kids Club was a bonus with all the rec activities!!! Pool area was great! Pavilion by the water was my favorite restaurant - our waitress went above and BEYOND - I wish I could remember the waitresses name - dark brown hair, glasses and on the shorter side - she took care of us and our small family like we were the only people there - catered to our every need of our 3 year old gentleman and even cut his chicken! Please recognize her for her outstanding service!
Lodges need to be updated - decor wise and more up to date carpeting, furniture, etc....Shower was great with the Grohe fixtures, felt like home!!! Age limit at kids club should be defined by if child is potty trained, not 4 years or older! La Bella Vita least favorite restaurant! Pet friendly would be a bonus! The gift shop needs to carry more organic and child friendly sunscreen. More cover ups too.

Great Internet access. The remote steakhouse, located on the hilly golf course, was awesome.
No view. No elevator. 8 minute walk to the main building and food. Way over priced for this dated facility.

I'm so happy with the pet-friendly room I booked here; it's brand new and has a king-sized bed!

The greet by the bellmen was the most pleasant. Check in went smooth on the 1st day, but later we felt that the folks behind the counter were not the most helpful. The scenery was breath taking. Dinner at the waterfront was the best and Shelby made it perfect! Pool side relaxation was excellent and Stan was also extremely friendly and polite throughout the entire afternoon.
The lack of staff eye contact and lack of friendliness. We felt the gym was a little dated and needed some work. We were a little surprised there was wasn't a snack shop where a person could just pop in to grab water, soda or a quick snack. We stayed in room that really felted dated and at the these rates a guest should not feel that way. My opinion is that the old can be preserved with style and a place can still be stylish.

The location of the hotel was amazing and fantastic - at a moderate distance from Bolton Historical Museum. A market and gift stores were right next door. It had marvelous views of the lake.

Location: the hotel was right by an island in Lake George, the restaurant or kitchen, and the majestic mountains as a backdrop to lobster and eggs benedict and the most caring waiter, TJ. The view of the lake was stunning and our room was good value for money and tastefully decorated.

Montana was a great waitress,
found cleaning staff to be very unfriendly, never responded when we said "hello"

Majestic setting on the lake. A beautiful facility. Food was tremendous . Staff very friendly. A lot of new help beginning of season, but they all tried to do their best.
I think the hotel was a little short staffed because beginning of season. Cobwebs on walls next to table in dining area a real no no. Front entrance glass doors should be wiped of fingerprints regularly. Rest rooms were a little dirty, mostly because hotel was packed That is my biggest criticism. Otherwise we had a fabulous weekend at the Sagamore.
